Tried to raise final cost,,jacked parts up100 per cent from thier cost
Unfortunately, the customer was not satisfied with the service on his vehicle. The technician performed diagnosis and testing to find a failed air fuel sensor on his 1998 Toyota RAV4 with 246,000 miles. We quoted the customer parts and labor to address this problem. He approved the estimate and we proceeded with the repair. Unfortunately, the old sensor was seized in the the original catalytic converter/manifold assembly. The technician spent extra time extracting the old sensor and then used a special tap to renew the threads in the converter assembly in preparation for the new sensor. The alternative was replacing the catalytic converter/manifold assembly for a lot more money. Evidently, the customer did not appreciate our effort to save his old catalytic converter/manifold assembly. The customer is welcome to contact us in order to resolve his concerns.
